Remember

I often get caught up in the bleakness I feel when winter has stripped nature of its color, but what I’ve realized is there’s a purpose and a necessity to this period. I just needed to look closer; go deeper. By doing this, I began to see the change and growth happening all around me. Everything needs to release, adapt and grow again with the passing of time. Winter helps shed our old skin and allows the emergence of a new, and often better, version of ourselves.

In this season and collection, I focused on allowing myself to release any notions of what I need to be and just be present in whatever comes. But in order to embrace this change, I find it critical to remember.

Remember to let go.

Remember there’s no growth without vulnerability.

Remember mistakes don’t define me.

Remember to trust myself.

Remember, that it’s in nature where I always remember who I am.
